.. race pic

by Ali on October 21, 2010

I am not a fan of race pictures, I have never, and probably will never buy one. I am more likely to spend my money on educational items like People magazine or a pony.

This is from Grand Rapid half this weekend,  here are a few things I noticed …

  1. Crazy women in the background trying to steal my moment
  2. I am the only one taking this run seriously, it’s not a photo shoot people!  There is big money, huge for placing 1211
  3. Even my fingers are concentrating and giving 100%
  4. Gster looks really really different in photos.

i am 100% guilty of stealing so many moments! i was SOOOO cheesy for the photos, it’s ridiculous. you’d think i was out playing games, not running a race. i don’t know what happens to me when i see cameras. i basically loose my mind…

I think she stole my red mittens.

Wait a second Merv, now that I look closely … is that you in the picture? It is isn’t it!!!

I thought everyone who ran was always this serious. Love the pic.

I think the women in the stolen red gloves is screaming for help

“… get me out of here! Save me.”

I completely agree. When I see a camera I make a point of looking the other way. This is no time for a photo shoot.

So the crazy woman with the red gloves is the Gster? It’s a perfect photo for her and #1263. Don’t feel bad though — I’m sure they can crop you out of it.
