… I heart the roller

when I couldn’t straighten my leg or walk up stairs, I was itching to run.  I kept thinking, yeah it hurts, but maybe, maybe if I run a little it will work itself out.

But I didn’t.  I haven’t even gone to yoga, for fear for balancing on my leg might strain it even more.  I’m like an over protective parent.

After 4 days on the roller, I can roll with crying, cringing or stopping.  I can straighten my leg fully with little to no discomfort.  I can tentatively attempt the stairs.

Which is great.  But now I am scared to run.

Go figure!

UPDATE: Ran 1.5 miles this morning.  No pain.  A little twitchy probably induced by paranoid and not tendon.  Rolled for 5 mins afterwards, quads tender.

Pleased with that, going to try a 45 minute run tomorrow.
