do not let it fool you ….
this is a torture device.
It looks innocent, almost inviting, but you’ll change your mind after 10 minutes of rolling your quads. 2 minutes brought tears to my eyes.
I didn’t think I would be able to handle it, I’m a flower.
The first 5 minutes were horrible.
Then I could actually feel my quads loosen out. I almost hate saying this, but I think the pain is worth it.
Do you have a roller? What do you do on it?

I have never used a foam roller, but I can see how it might be both painful and useful.
the foam roller is the silver bullet for running injuries. embrace the pain and it will set you free. i should heed my own advice. all these back to back big miles are starting to take their toll. solidarity, ali, solidarity!
I know, I used my aunt’s once and I almost cried it hurt so bad.
No Pain No Gain right?
It’s made from foam. How bad can it be? Thought runners were tough!
I’ve been putting off buying one for awhile now. I should finally just get on it but I don’t wannnnnaaaaa (said in extremely whiny voice)
Oh the foam roller. I have a love/hate relationship relationship with the foam roller. What a difference it has made! I spend about a half hour rolling after my long run and now I’m rarely sore, even after 16 miles. Love it! But ow, ow, ow it hurts.
That Pink Girl … 30 minutes! WoW … I am impressed. I barely make it 10, 10 seems like 3 hours! You are tough
I’m not into torture, but I want one of those – my upper right hamstring/glute needs beating into submission.
I don’t have one… but I actually really want one
Q I am putting it the mail to you … it’s all yours! I’ve sent it to
Quentewen Tewentino
Australia
if it gets returned then I am sending it to you Kilax
Total torture device. But only at first. I can’t even feel mine anymore. I have a chronicly tight IT band.
