my day was going pretty good …
My friend M came back from her holidays in warm sunny florida and bought me a charm for my birthday bracelet!
I was walking to my car, in the ghetto, after work; it was snowing. I could see my car covered in snow. My biggest concern was digging out my gloves which were lost somewhere in the bottom of my bag, so I could scrap the snow off the windows, with fear of frost-bite.
That’s when I noticed one window wasn’t covered in snow.
It wasn’t covered in snow because the window was gone.
Smashed in.
My car was broken into and you know what they stole. They stole the my coffee change. All $2.35 worth. They did leave my Kiehls lip balm, they obviously don’t suffer from chapping.
I drove to the honda dealer, with a rather fresh breeze bellowing through my mugged car. Just when you hope for mankind is all but lost, someone restores your faith. The courtesy vehicle was picking a customer up and wouldn’t be back for 30 minutes. I was getting ready to wait when one of the services guys said he would drive me home, right away. He reminded me of Samuel L. Jackson’s character in Pulp Fiction, minus the fro … tres cool!
I’m okay, my car will be fixed, my lips will remain soft and I have this little bundle of joy curled up at my feet.

Oooh, I’m so sorry that happened to you! Love your positive outlook though. (and what a cutie kitty you have! don’t they just make everything better our furry friends??)
Funny that they left your Kiel’s. Clearly they don’t know good lip balm when they see it!
)
That sucks! Glad you were able to get a quick ride home and that your lips will remain well moisturized.
So sorry that happened. But you have such a great attitude about it! And the little kitty is so precious!
Girl, you have a good attitude. I’m sorry that happened to you and I’m so happy that you were able to get a safe ride home
.
Whew you’re safe (and still smiling). Love the pic of your new charm…
Well, maybe some consolation that whoever did it must have really needed those $2.
What a pain! I am happy they didn’t steal anything else! My commuter lot has lots of break-ins too.
What a cute cat AND charm though!
