WORKOUT: elliptical : 35 mins

I have to stop reading thrillers before bed.  It makes me paranoid.  Rain on my bedroom window sounds just like an evil serial rapist sneaking down the hallway.

While I was creeping around facebook, procrastinating at work, I read about a new challenge, I love a challenge.  It’s the 100 x 100 challenge.  Which translates to 100 push ups  everyday for 100 days.

Fun!

So I started Friday, I did 65.  It was really hard.  I stopped.  Saturday I forgot about it completely.  Yesterday I did 40, deciding this is a fools game.  I think I need to divide them into doable sets, like 20 sets of 5 … or forget challenge all together.

Hmm.. No part of 100 pushups a day for 100 days sounds “fun” to me.

Ughhh, I hate pushups!!!!! Good luck with that, I’ve been doing pushups lately but I can’t even do one correctly so I opt to do them on my knees and still I can only do 25. I’m such a pansy.

100 x 100? I think 1 x 10 sounds a whole lot more doable to me!

Wow, 100 x 100! I’d have to break them up in sets of 10 and even then spread it out all day. What a great challenge! Good luck!

65 straight?! Dang girl. I assumed you had broke *those* up. Very impressive (assuming these are not modified push-ups. If they are well, then only 65…..:)

To clarify or come clean … I can’t do 65 straight … if I could I’d want money for that type of craziness. I think I did 25, then lay in a fetal position for an hour and wept. Then I did 2 x 20, with a 30 minute break for wine between sets.

Today I have done 4 sets of 0, I have another 3 sets of 0 planned before bed.

I read this and thought I can do that. I did 10 full and couldn’t do any more. I have no upper body strength, I think I am going to try and add one more each day.
