… bowllywood

by Ali on November 18, 2009

We had our annual work bowling tournament last night.   Last year we were Heff and the Playbowl Bunnies and won best dressed.   The costume involved a tail and some bunny ears.  It took 3 seconds to get ready.

This year we were Bowllywood.  We were in hair and make up for hours.

There was gems, glue, sheer fabrics, make up and a dance.

We came second.  Sometimes life just ain’t fair.

I am kinda digging the gems glued to my head with fake eyelash glue.

Hey, for what it’s worth, I think you deserved to come first. You all look fabulous!

so many bad puns/your mom jokes/inappropriate innuendos, so little time.

you guys look great, though. maybe i can talk my co-workers into dressing up like elves for the christmas party this year.

and please tell me that you were in a rush to get out the door this morning, forgot to look in the mirror and actually left the gem affixed to your forehead.

Hahaha. Figures that when you put in a solid effort you get second and when you throw it together you get first!

Your costumes look great, though!

Great costumes!

On the Jillian thing . . . if you’re looking for a good strength workout, I would get the trouble zones instead of the shred. You can always do fewer circuits if you need a quick workout. It is definitely a harder strength workout than the shred. :)

How could you not have won? Sheerly the judging wasn’t fair!
